This may sound strange, but we don’t recommend food storage recipes. The reason is we are partial to “ready-to-eat” products that only need hot water to prepare. Our thought is that in an emergency you may not have the time or resources to get out a recipe and cook a meal. Also, when you add up the cost, time, and hassle of preparing food from a recipe you will see it is much better just to be able to prepare a “ready-to-eat” meal.
